Azzy, Angel of Death - Cover Art Concept

A comic book cover concept. I used contrast between simpler and more intricate patterns to make the moth a focal point and draw the viewer's attention around the rest of the picture. Azzy's design utilizes my knowledge of color theory to create an appealing character design.
The comic is a work-in-progress with a premise following the eponymous Azzy as he collects the souls of the dead.
